Dear Mom and Dad!
Hiya! or Dobar dan!
So, my pday is Tuesdays, but I couldn't write because my e-mail is retarded. But, I'll be able to e-mail next week. I really really liked getting dear elders from you guys--it would be AWESOME if you did that every week and then I could spend all my email time (30 min.) writing you guys all about everything! And I get dear elders anytime during the week! The MTC is pretty AWESOME. I don't have anytime whatsoever to sit still. For some reason I thought pdays would be free days, but they're not. (Val and I cracked up at that) I'm the only missionary going to the Slovenia/Croatia mission so my companions are two sisters going to the Czech Republic. Sister Markolf from Colorado and Sister Mart from Mongolia. Croatian is AWESOME. I get to learn at my own pace with 3 awesome teachers! (When I wrote to Keshia through DearElder.com I asked her about her companion and then joked about her being the only one in her group because she wondered about it before she left. She had heard from an office assistant from the mission home/Slovenia/Croatian mission and he wanted her to scan and email him the information she had gotten from the missionary department to get ready to go and had told her she was the only pre-MTC missionary they had at that time. She wondered then if she was going to be the only one there headed for Croatia--and it sounds like she is!!) We've heard from Janice Kapp Perry and Elder Jay E. Jensen as well as branch president etc. Both were really good. Of course, it still sometimes feels surreal being at the MTC, but I learn stuff everyday! I'll write more on Tuesday! (heart), Sister Laws!!
