Dear Family,
I'm sorry to hear that Grandma Dot passed away. Wish I had gotten to know her better. She was a good grandmother.
I can't really believe that it's June.
I had exchanges this week. Unusual for sisters to have exchanges, but we do sometimes. Sister Fitzsimmons came from Zagreb, and Sister Whitaker went there with Sister Dillender, and so I stayed here in Varaždin with Sis. Fitzsimmons. She's from Finland. Her English is good. So anyway, we had a good day, and it started raining SO hard. It was awesome. And then as of Saturday, we've had good weather! Yay! I love the summer! I'm so glad that it's warm. I'm hot and sweaty and disgusting in a skirt, but I'm so glad it's warm. And my hair is finally long enough to put into a twisty braid again! Yes! I am trying super hard, but I can barely remember anything that I've done this week. Hm... on Friday I tried čevapčići, which is a good Croatian food. Oh, and on Sunday night, we went over to the Elder's apartment, because they live on the ground floor of a house, and it has a nice backyard, and the house is owned by a Croatian man, who is married to an English woman, and they have two twin girls that are 9, so we went over on Sunday night and had a barbecue with them. It was some good food, and they had Heinz ketchup. The ketchup here is so bad that I haven't even tried it, but we had Heinz, because they brought some with them from England. And it was so hard not to copy their English accent. And the one sister was at a friend's house most of the night, but the other one was there with us, and she was playing her pokemon game and asking Elder Brown to help her out, because apparently he's a pokemon nerd. And it was really fun to spend the splendid evening in their backyard eating good food.
And I cannot even believe that Robin Soderling beat Roger Federer. I am so glad that I wasn't there to see it. Unbelievable!
Oh yeah, how went the baby blessing for baby Jude? I mean, everyone said it was good, but I wouldn't mind maybe hearing some of the things that were said inside of it. But that's great that it went well. I saw some pictures on Kelsey's blog and Jesse is looking good. Hey Jesse! You look good, you didn't look like you just had a baby. :) And everyone else looked good, too.
Um, yeah.
